Mine started to do that just recently wrinkled up and started pulling apart right on the front by the windshield and the upper corner of the fender. The drip rails on my old gs did this but they were actually paint and were brushed aluminum underneath, where with the ls they definitely look to be a type of wrap do to the way its coming apart as a rip and then the rest of the material is shrinking. I'll take pics and post them here in a few hours .

Happened to my 07 460L yesterday but only on the passenger side. Peeled up about 5 inches but is separating about another 5 inches up. I hate to peel the whole thing since the driver side is perfect. Gonna see if I can source the vinyl somewhere before I make a decision. I will give feedback on my findings.

Use a plastic trim tool and pop off the drip mold. Get them both primed and painted by a paint shop. They may suggest pulling the vinyl off the one that is peeling. Good lluck
Is it easy to get off ? Any directions how to do this cleanly ?

I'm leaning towards pulling the cover off and leave the chrome showing but, by just pulling it off, it does not come off cleanly and look good.

Mine is worst. Almost the length of the whole rail, and on both sides. But that's ok. I will get it taken care of. It mine and I'm not gonna ride with my ride looking bold. Next summer it'll be the way I want it.
