The silver-lining is that the roof drip molding is chrome underneath. Maybe go over it with 1000-2000 grit and make it polished chrome.

mine was holding on pretty good for years. then when i had my roof painted black, the sander they were using took off the left side wrap. because it was their fault, they painted it free of charge...

I just went to my buddies shop and we went through the all day removal of the factory wrap. I do not know why Lexus did it, I think it looks great without it.

I'm going to have to bring mine by a body shop... about 2 foot on both sides it of the front came off but, how the heck do you get the rest of it off ?

I've heard it would be fairly cheap to have someone just remove it all and polish it off..

It's probably $200 to have a local shop wrap those pieces, might be worth considering if you don't like the thought of removing all the wrap and going with the chrome.

Is anyone familiar with the process of taking those drip rails off the car?

Take a look on YouTube of vinyl wrapping roofs. Many of them take off the roof drip molding so you can see. Requires something like a credit card to get under the molding and sliding off the roof clips.

I think this is the same as the "delaminating drip rails" thread. It's just getting worse as time goes on.
