Default Inaccurate TPMS

bought a set of external valve stem mount tire pressure and temp remote senders.

factory ones are inaccurate compared to these aftermarket ones.

anyone else seen this? My 08 is almost exactly 10 years old. No alarms from the OEM system yet.

Just inaccurste.

when they fail can I turn the oem sensors off?

Mines are accurate at times and inaccurate at other times. Usually off by 2-3 psi.

How would you know which is accurate without calibration?

I double check both the external and internal TPMS with two other different high quality air gauges.

I don't see any way to turn them off, and I've found TPMS sensors may be up to 3 PSI different than the two or three quality gauges I use as the baseline. I've seen this on three cars, now, so it's just one of those things to make note of and compensate for.
