Air fuel ratio sensor
Dealership told me that my VSC light came on due to oil leaking on my air fuel ratio sensor . . .do i need to replace immediately? or do i have time to shop for a better price?
Ah, yes. Common problem on our vehicles and plenty of DIY threads around here to help you with that if you're up to the task.
I'd say it's not incredibly pressing as in, don't let them scare you into paying stealership repair prices, but definitely look into getting it done soon as ignoring it is only going to make matters worse.

Thx a bunch, they want $1500 just for labor, i wanted to punch him in the face for that quote, not to mention the $150 i dropped just for the diagnosis. i hope i can find someone who can fix for less than that
Same thing happening to my LS460 now.
Air fuel ratio sensor needs replacement, but the sensor is clean without engine oil on it. The sensor is out due to age (145k miles)
parts: $450 (sensor plus gaskets etc. ), labor $800.
