Default Febest Control Arms

Well i had to order a set to see what they would look like in person. I posted the link awhile ago and ordered a set for the passenger side. A year ago i replaced my OEM with a full set of MAS arms. I am hoping that next week i will get to install the new ones. The passenger side still has a slight thunk. I have replaced all the upper and lower arms, struts, outer rods, and end links.

The cost per arms is 20.95 so with free shipping the total was just under $42 bucks.

The casting is spot on with the OEM ones. As you can see in the photos the ball joint spindle is a bit longer. The photo has a bad angle so its not that longer. I would say its about 2/16th longer if that. The rest is a close match. The weight feels the same. Since i used Febest for the lower ball joint they seemed like would be a good replacement try.

Soon as i install them i will update more. Probably in a week.

OP, did how have the Febest parts held up? I am looking to buy some rear stabilizer links for my RX350 and TWO Febest ones are HALF the price of ONE factory. Just trying to get a sense of if I should spend my money elsewhere. Thanks and let me know when you get a chance.

Thats certainly one possibility, and the reason I sought information rather than immediately jumping on them.

however, Lexus parts are STUPID expensive and usually for no good reason. So, just trying to feel it out, especially on an 11 year old car that has 162k on it already and I dont want to spend a fortune on this suspension change.

I just put these on my car. Uppers for both sides. They looked and felt just as good as the OEM ones that I took off and tightened up the car some. Even though the OEM bushings were in good conditionthe ball joints had lots of play. Time will tell if they last. To me this was one of the easier jobs to complete but I've done starter and TB belts on my 400 so YMMV.

Yea, exactly.... Lexus charges a little over $1100 for a set of parts that the OP got for $42 shipped... and even Rock Auto is like $150-200 for the parts he ordered... So why so cheap ? Would make it me really worry about quality control.... and what could happen if one cracked/broke doing

I am here for info as well, wondering real world results... As someone could get their front arms all replaced and installed for under $600...if they were good.

I only replaced one upper forward arm. They are very cheap in price. But so far good as MAS and others. They have they same look and feel as OEM. So a good option.
