Was everything shot? Or this was a preventative measure? How many miles you got on it and how much did you end up spending?

Wow looks like a huge job.

How much did parts cost? What about labor?

I did all that plus end-links, tie rod ends and sway bar bushings. I still have a slight knock on the passengers side. I hear it more when turning left at times.

Make sure that when they tightened the inner control arm bushing pinch bolts, that the car's weight was on the tires. Otherwise the bushings will be twisted as the car sits normally, and only untwisted when the tire drops into a pothole (which is rare).

Even the Lexus factory in Japan made this mistake on my car. The lower inner bushings are clearly twisted, as evidenced by the spiral crack pattern.

It really is such an easy front suspension to work on, I bet your friend had no problem whatsoever doing this repair. I like the garage, nice and bright, clean.

I'm don my sway bar bushings, ball joints and links in a couple weeks. I'm really hoping I don't have to remove the steering knuckle to get that ball joint out, but I guess if I have to it's not a huge deal.

Hey Tec,

This is only for the lower control arms right? Where it has to be torqued with the car at ride height? Your photo looks flipped so i wanted to make sure.

What brand aftermarket parts did you purchase and where? Can you please provide the name of the shop and a phone number? I'm in Southern California.
