Door Edge Guards.
I sprung for the door edge guards for my black (obsidian) 2014 LS460 AWD. I really like them. They seem really substantial and they protect all 4 doors nicely. The car would now seem naked without them. They were about $170 complete including installation at the dealer. So I recommend them. I think they look really nice and just finish the appearance.

Keep an eye on them because I had two of mine that were installed by the Lexus dealer come off..... Luckily I saw them before they fell off. Cleaning/removing wax on the door edge (prior to installing) is key for keeping these intact.
BTW! I recommend them as well for door edge protection and the color match is excellent.

Photos
I posted some photos of the car with the new door edge guards in the picture-thread of this forum. The door edge guards are visible in the last photo (on the rear door). They are barely visible in all the other photos (they are very unobtrusive).

I put the oem door guards on my Toyota Sienna. They are a high quality and I have to imagine the Lexus ones are the same. I am picking up my new to me 13 ls awd lwb from the dealer in a few days and door guards are on my list to buy ASAP. You can pick up the oem door guards off eBay for a substantial discount. You should ask for the Lexus dealer install instructions if you are going to do this yourself. There is more to it than cleaning off wax. You need to hit it with a mallet in just the right spots and it needs to be installed in a very specific space , not a quarter inch above or below. I am not super handy but was able to do it myself on the Sienna and they have stayed put for two years through ny winters. You need to follow the directions to the t, I am sure all dealers don’t follow the directions exactly as they are more specific then you would even imagine.
