Hi all,

I've seen some threads on this topic but not under 4th Gen LS460. So, I am getting the following lights on my dash;
VSC Check Light- Have checked by Dealer
Check Engine Light
Exclamation Point
"Swerving car"

My mechanic said the code is the P0012 referenced in the subject, but he thinks the fix is very labor intensive, which in my mind equals expensive. He is getting prices on replacing a VVT "sprocket" or "gear". and all associated seals/gaskets to reassemble.

I just wanted to check with everyone on this forum to see if you have had the same code on your LS460 and what you did to fix it? Thanks in advance for any input/help! Thanks!!!

I got the same code and warning lights on my 07 LS460. Can you update your post with results? That will be very helpful. I've changed the oil, filter and oil control valves but want to change the oil control filters and can't seem to find their location. Lexus part #15678-46020. Anybody know where they are located? Thanks

Hello- sorry to hear that. i took it to the Lexus dealership and it was the VVT motor. It was ~1K to replace. No issues since.
