A how to video of our experience would have certainly scared off quite a few folks.
Without Xhackr I would not have taken the leap of faith to buy the token. So thank you.

Without Kelly’s help I had not found anyone to complete the process from a used fob. The knowledge that Stu’s offered this flashing service only occurred a week before Kelly and I met up. After having tried this procedure on 2 occasions with guys that had no idea what the actual process was I was seriously scared of a bad result. I did however still want to see this done! Had a blast talking with Kelly about his many motorcycle travels and certainly appreciated he and his wife’s help to get me out of key hades.

Speaking of Techstream. My car needs updates....Calibration updates (as they are called in Techstream). Through my underground searches, I found a programming iso from 2008, I grabbed it to check it out.

On the disc, it comes with updates for every Toyota/Lexus car. I could not install it myself because I need a $250+ cable to install it.

So the question is, has anyone tried to get car updates at a Toyota dealership and was/is it cheaper than going to a Lexus dealer that charges more per hour ?
