07 ls460 baffled why no power. Dead
Completely baffled and imnout of ideas.
Battery good
All fuses good
Windows roll up and down with car off only with each door switch respectively.
Can not turn on anything
Dome light works only if On was pressed. Through door open does not work.
Lock unlock switch does not work
No headlights
No nothing.
Was reinstalling the ML amp and I put the wrong plug on one end mistakenly but never powered up as I caught my mistake right away.
Checked the fuse link and it looks good.
Has this happened to anyone before? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

What method are you using to determine that your battery is "good."

You repowered the amp? Why was it out? Did you replace it or have work done to it? Could there be a short in the amp causing electrical issues?
Try disconnecting the amp, check all the fuses and then see if the issue goes away, if it does there's something going on with the amp. Just a thought.

Agree with others suggesting battery. Just jump start it and then you can rule out anything else if it starts. Depending on how long you were working on the amp, you could have drained the battery with doors open causing dome lamps etc to be on.

I'm going with the route that maybe you forgot to reconnect something when reconnecting everything to put it all back together. Or a wire was cut/pinched when putting it all back together. Too coincidental to not be related.

I would have the battery load tested. Why you ask...... Well, last weekend, I started my Grizzly 700 quad about a dozen times througout the day. Cranked over full speed, started up instantly as it has for the last 4 years that battery has been in it. Went to start it towards end of the day and ........... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. There was one relay (fuel pump relay) clicking on and off rapidly, pull brake lever (required to start) and clicking stopped and complete silence. Moral of this story, batteries can and often times die with no warning. My battery had 12.7 volts no load, 6.4 volts turning on the key. It had a surface charge but ZERO amps (cranking power) in it. A new battery solved problem.
I know this is not a LS460 story, but to point out as many have stated - batteries can be the root cause of numerous electrical issues. We tend to jump in and think it is something mega-complicated, instead of looking at the simple things first. OK, rant over!

This thread is also DEAD....... OP comes here and asks a question (first and only post) and we never hear back on what he found.
I wish people would follow up so others would benefit from their solutions when they do a search.

I believe I would follow yours and others advice and have the battery checked first. It would be much easier to find the battery being the problem and replace it, than to tear all that stuff out of the dash again (been there, done that).
