Default Melting side panels

I bought brand new the LS460 and have always loved it. It's been as pampered as any car can; yet, last year (2016) I noticed my side panels becoming very tacky to the point of my clothes sticking to them. Now, they are completely a mess. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'd recommend a search...well known, actually recalled by Lexus depending on the year.
