Had mine, all 4, replaced and they were the full panel including electrical switches, etc. FWIW, that was over a year ago and recently noticed a sticky glove box door. Took it in and it was approved, ordered, and installed under good will all in about 2 weeks. '11 LS460

Just had mine done here in Southern California on my 2008 LS460. I was getting really tired of looking at the sticky and dirty door handles and I know that Lexus will not do anything to fix or replace them. So I had all 4 door handles wrapped with the same color as the window trim. It took them 2 days. Couldn't be happier with the results. I'm posting before and after pictures.

Wow, nice. I don't know how Lexus can approve some owners and not others! Mind sharing how much?

It was $500 for all four doors.

That is just flat out embarrassing and unacceptable for that to be happening to such a expensive luxury car and for them not to make it right which costs thousands of dollars to fix. There are muscle and econo car interiors that are much older that don't come close to deteriorating like that in the heat. Your solution turned out nice.

ATTENTION to anybody with a sticky dash: I called Toyota call center the other day about my 2009 Camry Hybrid's stick dash issue. You HAVE to report it by the end of this year to get a replacement under the "Extended Warranty" program. Just took my vehicle today to a local dealer who stated it would take a year or maybe even two for the dash to come in, they're all backordered. I don't know if she's full of it or not but she just left me a voicemail a few minutes ago to say they have one in stock, called her back but she's busy so I am awaiting a return call.

If you have a sticky dash and have not yet called Toyota I would advise doing so ASAP, get a free replacement dash. Here's a link with some info but disregard the "Ending in May" proclamation on the first link or any links you see!:

That is nice they are fixing yours but there should be no deadline in a few months for this issue.

If my car looked like that I'd be parking with the doors open at my local Lexus dealer on Saturdays.

Depends on the age of the car.

There has to be some deadline. I suppose people could sue which is why they're doing this extended warranty. You'd think a company as prestigious and big as Toyota would've known better than to use this soft crap in climates where it gets above 60ºF, lol.

I called Lexus and was informed that I was calling past the final date and should have called earlier. I just got the car after the enhanced warranty expired and it was sitting on the dealer lot once it became effective, so there was never an owner to have the repair done in that timeframe. Wish Lexus was more of a help.

I spoke to my dealer last week and he told me to bring my 08 in so they could take a look and see what they can do for me. So we will see...

Does anybody know what I can try to get them to fix it as they should ?

Default Try calling the Toyota Number

Contact Toyota at 800-331-4331, that's who I called. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. They'll ask you for your VIN. I guess Lexus wants to get sued like Toyota over this issue? Same company I know but I'm sure the entity in US is probably different. That's what caused them to extend the warranty.

Anyway, I wish you luck, Dunston!
