Bluetooth pairing & connection problems-2012 model

I did a search but didn't seem to find the exact thread.

I have tried 3 different phones(iPhone, galaxy, Motorola) but none of them work with the Bluetooth of the car. It did say phone was connected successfully but when I played a song from my phone the sound won't come out from the car audio system(ML system)?
I did follow the Manuel ....

when I click "setup" on the screen there is audio & phones, I tried both,

What is the difference between "from vehicle" & "from portable player"?

I have Bluetooth connect = ON

That's what I would recommend as it's the easiest way to resolve these kinds of problems.

Well, seems like you have to select the proper "Source" on the car's screen and, you have two volume controls, one on the car and one on the phone. So if it connects and you select the proper source, and you get both of the volumes up and you start the song playing on the phone, you should be able to hear your music from you phone.
