Default Plush floor mats year round?

I checked a few of the floor mat threads but couldn't quite find the answer I was seeking. For those that ordered thick Lexus Premium carpet floor mats or Lloyd Lux, do you keep them in the car throughout the rainy or snow season too? I know there was also a thread about someone putting Lexus LS logos on their new carpet floor mats (Steve/SW15 perhaps?) but I can't seem to find it again. Are thicker carpet floor mats noticeable with shoes on? Can you feel the difference? And what color would others recommend to go with Flaxen/black interior? Sticking with black would blend in best and hide stains, but I wonder if a charcoal gray floor mat would also add some additional dimension and style to the inside.

I miss my Lx570 stock mats they were really thick almost double the fiber than my stock ls460 mats. I like that soft feeling under my feet and I came across these below; they are like syntactic leather and looks pretty good + my feet are happy. they are all weather as well the fit wasn't as bad either. It matches with my black interior/ it took them about a month to ship from china but overall I am happy since they are sort of all weather mats as well. I have 2 little kids so they make a bunch of mess, I take these out hose them and they are good as new.

I leave my factory carpet mats in all year. I hate the look and feel of rubber mats. I'd rather spend 20 minutes cleaning them with a shampooer in the Spring than living for 4 months with the rubber ones.

Actually, my black mats showed every light spec of dirt to the point that I got a set of the brown/grey mats - much better!

Do like me, buy a second set for winter and keep the fresh new set for summer.
Only 140 Euro's at the dealer for a set of four pieces (in any color)

And my cat (Puppet) loves them too

How I deal with that problem is that I do not let the DW take the LS out if it looks like her feet will get dirty ie track stuff into/onto the floor mats. Problem solved!

I have the Lloyd luxe mats and I'm the one who put the Lexus logos on them.

I take them out when it's snowy and salty out and use the OEM rubber mats.

You can definitely feel the thicker pile under your feet, feels much nicer. I'd recommend black.

Hmm. Perhaps I can refuse to unlock the passenger door until the wife and daughter pass a footwear check. I just worry they will retaliate by deleting my seat memory settings.

When the DW let's me drive the LS (when it needs gas) if I do not remember to hit the #2 seat memory button when I am home and parked in the garage you would think I had forgot to put the toilet seat down?

We use black Weathertech mats in all our cars all year round. My wife was a long time holdout for carpets but now she's onboard and likes her moulded Weathertechs full time.

I bought some premium Lexus mats and put them in today. The weather techs i have been using for the last 2 years. I liked them ok but missed the carpet look. I had the original mats from the car but they are the light colored ones. They looked too dirty. I ordered the Brown ones but as we all know they look more dark gray.

The Metal Logo is a very nice touch. They say these clean up easy. I paid about 214 for the set. Came with new floor hooks too.

Where did you buy the premium mats from? My dealer only sells the standard carpet mats.
