2017 LS Question
Hello all:
Okay, I am very seriously considering trading or selling my 2011 LS AWD only 26,000 miles, for a 2017 RWD if I am able to find the options I want. And,of course, the deal I need. Question is this...... Does anyone know if the RWD model exhibits the "vibration" at highway speed that I feel from time to time, and does the RWD exhibit that annoying transmission flare between 2nd and 3rd gear. (Usually after a cold start) Also, what about the brakes.? The brake noise in my car sounds as if I was riding in an old pick up with 200,000 miles! Absolutely, with out question, the worst brake creaking and pedal clicking I have ever experienced in my 30 years of driving. Your help is greatly appreciated! Some good deals on 17's now, and should get a bit better as the Summer goes on. As a side note, I do like my current car. It's as new and still smells new! But, the issues that I have mentioned are really getting on my nerves. Multiple trips to the dealer have been fruitless.

The vibration in the earlier AWD cars was a known issue but could be fixed (Lexus TSB). The RWD car never had this issue. Clicking from the brakes could either just be sticky slide pins or possibly a bad brake actuator (also a known issue with a Lexus TSB). Sounds like you need a new dealer!
I'm not aware there were any such problems in the 2013+ models.

all the issues you have mentioned are fixable; I think you are just itching for a newer car

My 2011 will do that once in the morning if it's cold out.
