Lexus is Replacing the Dashboard and Door Panels

Took mine in for inspection pics yesterday - was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Around this time last year I wrapped my door panels in vinyl because they looked so bad - I told him I really wanted him to push hard to get the glove box, center console, and lower portion of the dash replaced and I didn't care about the door panels (plus to prove how bad they are I'd have to remove the vinyl wrapping which I don't want to do). He mentioned the door panels run just under $2k each - and if someone needed absolutely everything replaced it was about $10k. So I figure the stuff I need replaced is only about $2k - he said my interior looked similar to others he has seen that have gotten full replacement approved so I have my fingers crossed.

I had similar issue at my Lexus dealer ..I took my 07 with cracked door panels and they said it wasn't covered also said they weren't sticky ..I told her that it's freezing out so they won't get sticky .. I'm just going to wait until the summer time and try it again

It appears that one confirmed black door panel replacement has occurred on this warranty enchantment program.
I have gray interior and have been waiting for the parts to come in since mid Nov.
If you have yours replaced can you specify your interior color so we can have an idea if they are getting replaced randomly.

Okay, so they're waiting on all 4 door panels for mine, everything else has arrived though. The waiting game continues....

Hey guys on quite on topic... my lower pillars near the door are not in good condition, I would want to have the re-wrapped. Will cost me 60 usd a pillar, however the issue is, the design is faulty so it may get messed up again soon.
I found the new new replacement model however there does not seem to be an option anywhere even on parts sites that have in in black leather/pleather. All I see is plastic .
*** ignore this I found better pics of the part it is indeed covered in pleather***

The redesigned pillar isn't much better.

So to summarize, the "sticky" plastic issue is much more prevalent from 07-09 models however can also be a problem in 10-12s? But Lexus is taking care of any of these issues? In other words, no need to target a particular year in the 07-12 range because of this particular issue, correct?

I know about 07 and 08 for sure. I bugged Lexus for over a year and they denied twice. Finally they said yes. If you haven't complained you get on a waiting list and they are going to replace all of the parts till they run out. I went three times because I had them install parts as they came in. They gave me a free loaner each time. Interior looks brand new!!

I believe the rule from Lexus is they will do the interior replacement of impacted parts 10 years past the production date of the car. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong there.
