I have a 2008 lexus ls 460. My cd player was not working, so I got another one (same for lexus) on line but when I install it it says disc error? Anyone know if it is programming issue, or something else !!!!

I take it you have tried several CDs and DVDs? If so, then this is usually an indication of a fault in the player. Try disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it and wait for the thermometer bar in the display to complete. If it doesn't work, I'm not aware of any programming involved for the new head unit but you could call your friendly dealer to see.
