I don't want to know your line of business . Another option is to place the phones in different holders/clips - one attached to the left side vent, one to the center vent or console, and one in your pocket or inside the center armrest. That should free up at least one cup holder. You could also search whether a cupholder can be installed in the coin tray drawer below the left side vent. I agree with others here about not installing the tray for all the reasons mentioned.

i know what you mean i tried one of those. i found one of those Rubbermaid vent holders from auto zone and tried it out but it was of no use to me as it cracked one of the vent "shingles" and i had to replace that for 200$ which made it not a real reliable option and its what kinda steered me into this direction

If having all three phones accessible in the car is important to you, I would invest in high quality phone holders from Proclip (proclipusa.com). They have mounts for the vents that will be durable and not damage your vents like the Autozone product. For two holders and mounts, you will end up spending over $150, but they are built to last. The third phone can remain in a cup holder or inside the center console, and linked to your car by BT. The VIP trays are for show and not really very functional. As everyone says, they are a safety hazard. You are better off without them. Besides, they are pretty expensive too.
