Default BC Racing Coilovers

Anyone ever fitted these as replacement for factory air suspension ? Specifically BR series. How much of existing air setup is removed, how to prevent warning lights etc and ride experience after install, many thanks.

I'm in the same boat, did some research, messaged a few members and from what I know now, you can swap the coilovers in, and you have to remove the fuses to the oem air system to avoid the lights being thrown on dash

I never adjust my air suspension and thought about spending $1k on coilovers instead of an air ride controller.

Yes many people have done these. We get calls on doing this all the time.
It's a straight forward install

PM Sent to all.

Air ride vs coilover is a different feel. They are going to be a more aggressive suspension setup however they are going to be comfortable. Less body roll around turns, dampening functionality as well as height adjustment. IF you are looking for a smooth daily driving experience, these will be perfect. If you are looking for a more sport tuned suspension, these will be perfect.

got your Pm thanks; what are the spring rates? i had the BC in my Ls430 and the regular spring rate (10/8) i think was little bumpier than i expected. I want the rates to relate more like the Tein CS series i had in my GS400.

You could always go with say the 8/8 or 8/6 as far as the spring rates are concerned

What spring rates would give the closest to factory feeling assuming standard ride height is maintained. Thanks
