I recall reading about TPMS sensors that had the minimum threshold set too high, say 30 PSI, so it would trigger a warning too early. Yes, the dealer can check for the minimum trigger point and set it to a more appropriate level. Shouldn't cost much if anything at all.

TMPS sensors are the bane of almost virtually all service departments and manufacturers. Then again, it would not surprise me if only a handful of manufacturers make the bloody sensors. Name a brand and I literally have friends or personal experience with them going wonky. Really cold weather seems to exacerbate the issue.
