I was under the dash looking for the TPMS reset button and I found the unmarked ****.
Has the look of a volume pot, it even clicks to what seems to be an "off" position when fully turned clockwise.
The **** adjusts the volume of the audible feedback from wireless key operations such as locking the doors and trunk and the audible feedback from lock and unlock operations using the door handles and trunk button. Maximum volume would be fully counter clockwise and off would be clockwise into the detent - sort of counterintuitive.
And, that is not a TPMS Reset switch. It is a SET switch that is used to set the low pressure warning thresholds in the car's electronics - a process called "TPMS Benchmarking." Injudicious operation of the Set switch can compromise the safety features provided by the TPMS and cause nuisance false alarms.
