I'm trying to sell my American 2010 in the US, but from Canada (gonna be driving the car to Florida for good in 2 weeks).
I've tried autotrader, but since you need to pay with a credit card AND the invoicing address needs to match your actual address, the site will not let me post...
So here's my question... besides Craigslist, which is too "local"... what would be the best FREE site I could advertise it on for national exposure?
Since the car will be getting sold in the US, Kijiji won't really help since people in the US don't use it.
To OP: CarGurus.com allows you to list for free and should give you the exposure you need. In your case it might be worth just listing it on Autotrader and cars.com since they're the most popular, thus more exposure.

Yeah Kijiji in Western Canada is almost non-existent as well. Craigslist all the way here. From what I've seen and read here at CL, Cargurus seems to be the go-to.
Does it have to be 100% free? I only ask because i have had very good luck selling cars via ebay motors. I never sold one on there through auction, but it acts as an advertisement while the car is listed and someone always ends up calling to buy it before it ends. I think ebay motors has one of the largest market exposures out there. Put your location as florida and it should sell quickly. Fees are not too bad either if it sells before auction is over.

Here in Toronto (Ontario) Craigs list was my site of choice, was very popular many years ago, now its like a cheap sex site, personal adds and hardly any cars or real items for sale
I don't use it , im surprised its still up and running to be honest
