So I had my tail lights smoked today at work, just a slight smoke did not want to go too dark my opinion still looks a little classy what do you guys and gals think??
This is about as dark as you can get away with without starting to significantly take away from the "luxury" look of the LS.
I recently saw a 2007-ish LS with the rear lights completely 100% blacked out, and I immediately thought "this guy must have bought a salvage LS for next to nothing and is now trying to make it look ghetto".
Not a fan to be honest. Even lightly done like yours. It does take away from the luxury and I'm my opinion makes it look like a ghetto glider. No offense meant. The lighter version does look better than completely blacked out, but I'm just not a fan. I prefer to keep the car stock which to me looks elegant and classy.
Not a fan either. But our tastes are all different. When I bought my rear LED tailights, I had the choice between smoked and red. Obviously I chose red because it's classy and maintains the LS luxury appearance. You blacked out your logos too, so obviously you're going for a different look. Some would say "Ricer"...LOL

In any case, you look appears super professional.

thanks, yeah I thought the chrome trim on the trunk looked better painted the same color as the car. It's the little details that make a difference if you ask me
