Can anyone tell me why my car will not raise when pressing height high switch 08 ls600 hl

 

Have you had this car for a while? Was the ride height switch working previously and just recently stopped working? I feel that the height rises rather slowly, and the pump is very quiet. So, maybe you need to give it at least 1-2 minutes before checking. On the other hand, maybe the air pump or the fuse (if there is one) is broken.

 

The change in height is pretty subtle. I wasn't sure my switch worked either, but I checked (and confirmed it does work) by sitting in the car with the engine running, opening the door and putting my foot on the ground, and pushing the "High" switch. The car slowly rises a couple of inches, and you can feel the rise with your foot on the ground. If you try this and get nothing, you may have a problem...

Glad to hear the car height switch is working fine. You can download manuals for free on Lexus Driver site. I just downloaded one on a different site. Attached manual in two parts to bypass size limits. Some of the pics look pixellated. You should be able to get the high quality manual from the Lexus site.
