But be careful not to gouge the dash panel on either side of the column when reinstalling the cluster bezel!!

I was so concerned with not scratching the top of the dash above the cluster, I totally murdered the dash panel that is below the buttons on the cluster bezel.

One of mine came out fine, the other did what you are explaining.

I had to drill through it and yank it out with a hook tool.

what material did you use to stitch dash with?
