Well the dealer just called me and told me the deal is off... they made a mistake on the price.... This is after they ran my credit and got me approved.... I am furious to say the least and told the manager I will complain Lexus North America. Can a dealer post a deal, get you approved and pull the deal off? Isn't there some law about honoring deals?

Eek! I wonder what numbers they had plugged in. If it had been true, that would really have been a steal. I would be most upset by the fact they ran my credit. But, I'm a stickler about such things.

I am upset and feel that they need to honor the deal they quoted me. I am calling Lexus tomorrow....

I hear you on being frustrated and upset but here's my thoughts. That deal is nowhere close to being realistic. I think if it was closer to the actual deal it should've been they might honor it so don't get your hopes up because I'm sure it's far off. You might not want to insist on them honoring the deal and instead ask them to make some sort of goodwill adjustment towards the purchase or lease of another vehicle.

I thought that sounded too good to be true.
It's a business, here not going to loose money on a car to honor something they told you. Mistakes happen.
