About the same either way I guess except when I'm traveling to see family in WA and OR then I drive through Boise. Need me some Baja Fresh. One of those things when I was stationed in SoCal. Probably just the salsa. LOL Cheers and enjoy the ride.
Thank you. I can wholeheartedly recommend Peterson Lexus. Just had my first service there and they were amazing. Hope you get to come home soon and drive that awesome LWB 460! I love the bamboo wood--it's really striking!

Good to know Derrick. I contacted them last week to look into what it's all about. Ashley replied so we'll see what happens. While I don't plan on buying one, I sure do want to check out the LC500 and see if I can even fit in one. Corvette Grand Sport or LC500 on the short list. Or just keep my 2006 GTO which I bought new. No where near as fast as the other 2 but it's been a fun car anyway. Great interior for a GM. I'm hoping to roll through Boise on the 1st or 2nd of sept but it'll be tight. Lots of miles to cover. Cheers and enjoy.

I was going to comment on the bamboo in my original post...spaced it out. When I first started looking I was just looking for Starfire Pearl and most parchment interiors come with the dark walnut which is a great color wood. Really a tough call on that one. But then I saw a car in KS with the bamboo and it was like, wow I really like that. Blends in to the interior with a subtle appearance where as the dark walnut give a more distinctive color. Like them both but finding that the bamboo wasn't offered after 2014 in that tan interior made me think about it being somewhat rare. Maybe not but it seems like that. Back to exterior paint, when I saw that metallic cashmere it was like game on, lets see if I can find both combinations. Must have been a fluke of researching because my car was actually listed as nebula gray which didn't match what I was seeing in the photos. Dug further into the add and then when the dealership sent me the info packet it listed right there that it was cashmere. VIN check with Lexus confirms it.

So I don't know if it was earth crust displacement, neutrinos acting like microwaves, planet alignment or what (name the movie) but I found the beast I would have probably spec'd out if I was rich and could have ordered from the factory. Ok, I better head to lunch as they close in a few minutes. Cheers and check ya later. Goats.

It is a seriously beautiful car. I guess we should be thankful that they deteriorate so much in price to make them affordable! (I think your shifter is twisted to the right, btw).

So true, only reason I could afford one. I think you're right on the shifter. Wonder who did that? Supposedly very senior woman who owned the car, wonder if they moved it for her or if it broken. Kinda wish I could do that with my 97 Land Cruiser. Gate release **** digs into my knee. Crap...your gun is digging into my hip. Doesn't take much to bring back a movie line. Warped sense of humor...thanks SNL and Toot Tone. Jane, you sleazy ****.

Dealer checked the shifter handle and the tech said they’re movable. Looking at recent photos here I see another that is at an angle. 20 days left till I get my girl. Can’t wait.

First car was a 2014 Nissan Altima I4. Drove that for quite some time.
Just picked up a 2007 LS460, base model, black black black every little thing even inside the car. Custom exhaust - sounds wild, F-sport brakes, 150k miles, got it for $4800.

Hello all, just purchased my 28th vehicle this past weekend. Its an 08 LS460 and is super clean. This is my first Lexus and after doing alot of research decided to go with the a non-awd, non-auto suspension. I swore I wasnt going o own another black car and just threw that out the window because this Lexus is flawless. Only 63k miles dealer serviced since day one. I traded in my 2014 Lincoln MKS for it. Couldnt be happier so far.

That's amazing! Do you think somebody hand-washed it for ten years?

Thanks, Whoever the previous owner was, was meticulous with maintenance as well. Went to dealer every 3000 miles instead of recommended 5000 miles. This one drove better than every 2012 I drove. Not one swirl make in the black paint. I did do one application of F11 Top Coat which I swear by.

Default My LS460L

Been trying to get this done for over a month now. But LS is 2009 LWB, Truffle Mica exterior with beige interior. Purchased with 89000 miles. Has the comfort PKG. My rain rails are peeling. Had it for about two months now. The power, the comfort, the ML sound. I'm loving it. Want to do some appearance mods. Minor like wheels may update lighting but right now I'm good. May wind up ordering new rain rails from factory. Im told that some have been left natural, as in bare chrome, can't seem to picture that.

Just had windows tinted
Still deliberating on that. Tried to upload photos but having a problem. Will continue trying though. Thanks. I like the forum. Loads of information.

Default 2009 LS460 Base AWD w/Nav

New member and New to me. Got last month. Gave my 07 ES350 to my daughter for school. I always love the LS model. This LS will be my son’s car in a couple of years. Then time for another LS for me 😁. But for now just need some tints and wheels. And data system just to sit right and daily driving. Might as well have some fun with it for now. 👊🏼
