Default Trunk Mat

Anyone have the factory trunk mat?

http://www.lexus.com/models/LS-hybrid/accessories

I wanted to get one, but I had some questions. Does the factory trunk mat cover the tie-down clips on the floor?

Also, does anyone know if the Weathertech trunk liner also covers the tie-down clips. It wasn't very apparent on their website.

http://www.weathertech.com/lexus/201...ner/hybrid/no/

It seems like there are two squares where those tie-downs would exist, but they don't look open and seemingly have to be cut. Anyone have the weathertech one and do you have to cut that square out yourself?

You didn't get the factory trunk mat? Every Lexus I've had came with the factory trunk mat.

I believe there are cut outs for the hooks. I will check.

the all weather Lexus trunk mat in my 2008 ls600hL has a cutout for cover the tie-down clips on the floor, but I made a cut so the cut-out flaps are vertical when the all weather mat is in use...

Thanks.

Is that all-weather one factory or from Weathertech?

I'm still curious about the factory carpet one as well if anyone knows? Also, I don't even see a factory all-weather one, at least on Lexus' website.

Yeah, my car didn't come with one. Really didn't pay too much attention to the trunk when I was doing my deal. Just has a cargo-net and first-aid kit, which I didn't notice until I got home.

I would contact the dealer and let them know that your car is missing the carpet trunk mat. In addition to every Lexus I have owned having that mat, every Lexus I have ever seen be it on the lot as a new car, used car, or out in the world where I have seen the trunk has had that mat. They should provide you one for free.

Yes my carpet mat has cutouts for the tie downs, checked last night.

Our 2010 LS 460L did not come with a trunk mat so I worked a deal with Lexus Of Omaha. The Part number is PT919-50070-02. This is the mat for the LWB model. Yes there are horse shoe cutouts for the rear tie downs on each side with stitching around it just like the rest of the edging. Then up front towards to back seat there are 2 flaps that can be lifted up when you need to use the other 2 tie downs. When not being used they lay flat and really are hard to see.

My 2008 has the factory carpet trunk mat. There are cutouts for the tie-downs and the carpet is of far higher quality than the stuff glued to the trunk bottom.

Yeah, had I know it wasn't there when I purchased it, I probably would have asked for it for free, lol! Just a big oversight on my part. I just opened the trunk and was awed by the space, full-size spare and push-button closure and completely missed the fact that there was no trunk mat.

We'll see what the dealer says, but I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks again.

List was $102. I got it for costs which was $49.95 plus tax. I did not buy the LS from Lexus of Omaha but that is where I get it serviced most of the time as my sisters still live in Omaha. They have treated by great.

I'm waiting on that same matt from Weather Tech. Also the black front floor liners.

Thanks for posting detailed pics on the Weathertech.

I notice that this does indeed cover those tie-down clips, but there seems to be outlines for where they are at.

You think it's possible to cut those squares out yourself?
