Service Information on Navigation Screen?
Hello,
Again, sorry for the seemingly simplistic questions, I'm currently shopping for a 2013+ LS460.
I'm wondering if the navigation screen on the 2013+ models has a section for "service information", relating the to the car itself.
I know other cars models, including BMW, have an entire "service section screen" on the iDrive screen which tells you how many "miles are left" until the next oil change, brake change, overall car checkup, etc.
I understand this information can often be falsified (as in, resetting the service record in the system, without actually performing the maintenance) on many cars, including the previous generation Lexus IS (which is more like a "reminder service", than an actual service tracking system), but I'm wondering what the deal is on the LS460.
The entire idea is to determine, at a glance, what the car itself is reporting for its service history when shopping for a used vehicle, and while sitting in the actual car (I am aware of the online Lexus Driver portal for dealer-based records, but that's only good if the car was serviced at an official dealer).
Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you.
