buying Florida ls460 for california
So ca emission standard is high. I just read that under hood it should state that if vehicle is operable in state of ca or not.
Dealer didn't have a clue and said there's no way to know this.

What do I need to do to make sure this car will pass smog in ca?
It's 2007 and passed FL smog.

From searching this forum, it appears Lexus vehicles have been 50-state certified since the late '90's. It's likely the car will pass the CA smog test since it's apparently been well-maintained.
From a fee perspective, you will pay extra for bringing an out-of-state vehicle into California. See this calculator:
