Default Few small issues.

Hello.
I started hearing a small rattling sound coming at low speeds wile driving. It's a tic tic rattle which almost sounds like a cat, but it only does it while driving and not all the times. I had a smiling noise once on one of my cars and it was a torque converter. It's not the brakes, as applying brakes doesn't help. Also the whole front end is brand new. It motor related. Can a heat shield for a cat come loose? Anyone encounter a similar problem? Replicating this at a dealer will be difficult.

I'm also dealing with a wind noise coming from a driver side window. My car has the updated thicker windows. The noise goes away if I lower the driver side window just a fraction. So having it closed all the way creates more noise. Again I don't know if the dealer will help me with it.
Other than that wind noise is at a minimum.

Thanks .

I had a rattle yesterday. Baffled me for about 2 hours. Finally as I was driving I saw the tape thats on the outside of the "A" pliiar flapping in the wind. I always thought that was painted but it appears it is some kind of tape. Both sides have come loose but it looks like chrome underneath so I am just going to let it go.

Not sure about the ticking noise, but the wind noise sounds like the outside window gasket is getting folded over. Here is a thread explaining it and additional info. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...t-windows.html

Thank you guys .

Upon inspection I did discover the vertical rubber strip folding over on itself. I was able to bend it back for the time being. Not sure if this was the cause of the problem . I'll let the dealer know next time I'm in.

My passenger side headlight started getting condensation , and passenger side lumbar doesn't work. Broken gears I think.

Let's see what warranty picks up.

Thanks again.

Happy July 4th to all.

As for the seal folding in on itself all you need is some 3m silicone paste and it will slide up and down perfect. If lexus tries to sell you and new window surround dont buy it. In the link I posted we talk about exactly what to buy and where to apply it. Let us know how everything works out for you.
