Just picked up NX today and immediately noticed driver side wind noise almost like window not shut all the way.

Anyone else notice this problem?

Congrats on your NX!

I noticed the NX allows slightly more wind noise than the RX from the side glass and that's because it's not the Lamisafe sound-reducing glass but Temperlite. Though I still would not consider the slight wind noise to be intrusive or the equivalent of a window slightly lowered.

I know with a couple folks in the IS forum, incredibly, the fact that they had paint protection film on their mirrors was the cause of some wind noise. It's a long shot and may not even be your case...

 

Thanks for the reply. I drove it off the lot and immediately noticed it, so I wasn't sure if it was related to the door seal problems the others mentioned. I drove other NX before and never noticed it. Maybe next time at the dealer I will have them check it out or see if anyone else have the same complaint:

 

^^^Sometimes this type of issue is hard to diagnose and could very well be a seal that is off by fractions. Check your passenger door carefully and take note of any seal differences. Also, ask to compare with another NX in a test drive if necessary.

This is likely a window or door seal problem. Have a tech from the service department go for a drive with you when you drop it off, and make sure they understand what you are hearing.
