LS 600hl wont start
Help anybody? I have an LS600hl (2008) that has behaved spectacularly well, except until recently when it started to deplete the key fob battery fast! I resorted to replacing the batteries once a week (yes it was that bad). that was up until today when the car refused to start completely. Everything in it is dead, including the horns. There are no Lexus dealerships where i live and definitely no Lexus centers. Thanks
Change 12v battery. Also try this to try to start the car before getting it towed: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...-depleted.html
Here are some pointers I learned when I first picked up my ES 300h last year. Perhaps they may help?
The keyfob is a radio receiver, so when not in use, it should not be stored too close to any electromagnetic transmitters, like radios, televisions, etc. If it is, its battery may run down every quickly, as it receives those radio signals to determine if it is the signal from your particular car.
Can you unlock the car doors with the keyfob or do you have to use the spare key?
If the keyfob battery is low, have you tried to start the car by holding the keyfob up to the start button? Look up the procedure in the owner's manual.
