Default Scratches on a black LS

What do you guys do with some of these scratches and small pieces of paint that is missing on your car? Is there a paint pen anyone recommends?

Got my paint pen for my Obsidian LS at the Lexus dealer. It actually works really well.

What kind of scratches we talking about? Deep? Or are you talking about swirls?

If the scratches are light and haven't penetrated the primer, they can be buffed out or cut polished. Sounds like this is not something you may be familiar with, so a local detailing shop or body shop willl be able to do this for anywhere from 100-200 bucks. After that you can maintain the paint on your own with some quality polishes and waxes. There's a detailing section here at CL that will provide you with some good info. Here:

Black cars are a nightmare to maintain. As the song goes, "......black cars, look better in the shade".

Some of the nicks and scratches the local detailer can't fix. I want to use the pin, then have it detailed and buffed.

I couldn't find that pin mentioned above when googled.

Small scratches/swirls/paint chips just seems to come with having a black vehicle no matter how many times you wash and polish it. Black vehicles definitely looks better in the shade.

Ahh the black car scratches. My car has so many of them I find a new one every day. I'd love to get the outside of my car looking like new, but how long would it last? Luckily I drive from the inside and that looks ma'avelous!! :-)
