Default Tanabe Springs - FR/RR Spring Identification

This might be a dumb question, but I haven't been able to find any answers on the net. My springs did not come with any documentation as to which springs go in the front or in the rear.

My assumption is that the spring with the smaller coil wound goes in the rear since that indicates its a softer spring rate. Is that a safe assumption? I know many factors affect the actual spring rate, but I don't really have anything to go by besides that. The spring with the smaller coil wound is also shorter.

The alleged front springs are thicker in wound and longer.

If someone has previous experience, I would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Just an update for those that may benefit from this post. Looks like my assumption was correct and the thicker wound spring goes in the front. Drop is consistent with what was advertised by Tanabe.
