Hello guys, today I found out my rear door (right) powered sunshade suddenly quit working. Button does nothing, it won't go up. Has anyone experienced anything like that? I mean, how much repair costs should I be ready for? :-(

 

Does the motor in the door make any noise when you press the button? If it does then it might be disconnected from the sun shade mechanism. You need to open the door panel and attach it again. Had that problem in one of my cars and was fixed under CPO

 

Stupid thing, but make sure your window is up all the way.

 

very true Ascari, i had the same issue once, and thought that my brand new LS was broken already!

i simply rolled the windows all the way down, and all the way back up again on both sides and it worked...
