Then after that you are going to inspect the work done to it and measure the panel gaps.Originally Posted by Doublebase

Not really. I am going to re-schedule an appointment to make a slight adjustment for a gap on one end where the fender meets the bumper. Also, a rattle/buzz from the rear exhaust at certain rpm's. That deer must have knocked a baffle or two loose or maybe even inside the muffler. Other than that, the work is well done with a perfect paint match. All my fender liners were replaced as were all under panels. The fender wells look great - clean, black, etc.Originally Posted by Tee

Body damage appeared to be just the bumper/lower fascia....right down to an antler protruding through it by the fog light. After a few pics for insurance purposes, I drove away with my partner to report for shift. As we drove along, I quickly realized that my ducts were throwing out cold air. No heat. It also appeared that some steam was coming out of the grill area. Also, my steering was making some weird sounds, as were the suspension components over bumps. When I got to work, steam continued to come from the grill area and red (or pink coolant) fluid dripping from the undercarriage. It was too dark to really see much.
Soooo, after a tow to the local GM dealership ( a good collision repair facility in my town) I await information on how much and what type of damage my car has suffered.
I am now the proud, temporary owner of a brand new Ford Fusion SE as a courtesy/rental. Sigh.
Thanks for reading and your support. LOL.
Oh no!!! So sorry man. Glad ur ok!Originally Posted by roadfrog
Hit a deer on my way to work. It was actually hit by a dump truck right in front of me and then threw it into my lane, where I then struck it while it was skitting across the lanes of trafffic. I literally drove over it and it threw my car in the air about a foot at the front and then the back. Nope, had to replace one of them. Not a problem, as I had an extra set kicking around.Originally Posted by peteybabes

My condolences and empathy...
I too just had one target my passenger headlight. 2013 LS 460 F-Sport, only 15k miles.
Fortunately I too was not hurt, and because I was on a side street, I was only doing about 20-25mph.
That, however was enough to do $10,700 in damages, and car laid up at least another couple weeks. Yay for deer
