I paid a visit to the shop. They're just waiting for the parts to arrive. They advised me that all the parts are coming from Lexus and are all OEM.

Now for a funny update....

Went to "upgrade" my courtesy car at Enterprise. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the counter guy told me to being the car back after a few days and he'd put me into the BMW that they had coming back. So I went in and asked about it. He just shook his head and told me that the car had to be taken into BMW in Vancouver (about an hour away), due to some serious electrical issues including ABS and airbag lights going off, etc. They won't get the car back for at least another week. Guess I'm stuck with the Fusion.

Damn, I sure miss "Seka", (my car). LOL

 

I guess BMW really knows how to take care of their service people... by keeping the busy !

I had someone back into me with the car parked in a lot after only having my LS for less then a week. I can feel your pain...

I also got pretty much a pos to drive for a month.

I found the most expensive highest end shop I could find to do the work. $6500 for a bumper, 1 tail light, some support bracing, a backup sensor, and paint. But the work was done perfect. I also was glad to hear that there were not any aftermarket parts available for the work I needed. Nice when they are forced to use OEM because given the choice they won't. Car took a $1000 hit in value due to an "accident" report but I recovered this was well. Georgia has good laws regarding being compensated for loss of value due to an accident. Came out to be $7500 when it was said and done... No wonder these cars are so expensive to insure.

 

What's the latest on this roadfrog? (other than crappy loaner cars lol!)

They called me yesterday and said that all the parts have arrived and that I'll get the car Monday afternoon (probably). So far, they've done a 4 wheel alignment and painted the front bumper.

I really want Seka back.......

They called me late Friday afternoon and said it should be ready tomorrow afternoon. I hope so, because Tuesday is a holiday.

 

I get the feeling you're going to get in it and drive a few hundred miles, I'd do the same.
