Phone Microphone wind noise
My 2012's hands free is nearly unusable because of noise from a/c. Lexus has no fix for it. Dealer say to to turn a/c off or point vents down when using phone. This is unacceptable. Thinking about making a hood for the microphone to deflect a/c air. Any other ideas??

Are you trying to use the hands-free microphone while sitting in the passenger seat?

While I'm on the phone, I choose the "Climate" button and put the fan on "Med"
When I'm off the call, I just hit the "Auto" button to get the A/C blowing higher again.
This seems to help.

I would think you could turn down the ac for the time you are on the phone rather than make a hood to cover the mic if it bothers you. I think it might be the easiest solution to what shouldn't really be a problem. Then when you are done with the call, crank the ac back up.

The tiny microphone is sensitive and I turn my a/c off when making a call.

Car A/C
I have never experienced a problem with the a/c interfering with my phone calls. I have had a few vehicles with bluetooth capability that is hands free. Then again, I have never had to use the phone immediately after starting the vehicle, which is when the a/c is running at its strongest to cool down the vehicle.
