Oil Change Interval Questions
This is a question about what you do not what the owners manual says.
How many folks change the oil and filter regardless of the mileage after 6 months. Even if it is less than 5000 miles.
Would you change the oil and filter with 2200-2300 miles given that it was fully synthetic and the car was never driven close to anything other than a paved road?
Would you be happy with the same dealership that switched between conventional oil of 5W20 for 3 oil changes than switched to full synthetic 0W20 for 2 oil change than back to conventional oil of 5W30 than to a 5W20 oil?
These 7 oil and filter changes covered 19,804 miles over 3 years 3 months and 11 days.
The first of these oil changes was at 5248 miles after the car left the Lexus dealership as a new sale with 2425 miles 90 days before. I am guessing the car left the Lexus dealership with at least a syn blend if not full synthetic. What does Lexus ship these car with?

Oil Changes Intervals
If you want to maintain your warranty then you better follow the time/mileage intervals in the manual.
If you care less about your warranty, then do it when you get the urge. Could wind up being an expensive urge!

Follow your warranty requirements. That said, 6 months on synthetic and changing it out, is throwing money out the window. Especially with the miles you quoted.
