Default What are the factory TPMS thresholds?

Guys,

Put on my 22's with new Toyota TPMS sensors. Drove around for 3 days and today I got a "Check tire pressure - go to dealer" type message. Was wondering what the factory TPMS thresholds are for minimum and maximum? Anyone know?

The TPMS on the Ls460s doesn't have a maximum threshold. The minimum thresholds can be set over a fairly wide range, on a per tire basis, through the "benchmark procedure" that is described in the Owner's Manual.

I need to get a new manual, mine is in about 650 pages...literally I guess I'll start the search for the right page! Thanks for your help,

Jonny

Silly question but did they flash the new sensor ids to the cars ecu? It only holds 5 tpms sensors and they are not auto sensing if new sensors are added. They must be programmed into car

I've had the new TPMS on for about 5 days, light only just came on today right as I got home from Lexus. I spoke with Lexus and they want $60 to update the sensors... I'm not sure if the place I had the wheels installed did it or not.

You need to go back to tire shop. They need to scan all 4 sensors plus spare tire sensor and then do the flash procedure. if your old tires and sensors are in your garage or near where you park, it may be picking those up and thinks its ok..but over time it does a check in and if the system doesnt see the sensors its programmed to see..it will throw the warning light. Discount Tire does this for free for their customers. It takes literally 5 minutes to do this procedure. I have discussed this in my threads also if you need more info. Bottom line is take it back to whoever installed your tires. They need to do all 5 sensors. .not just 4 or it will not take
