Arvid, how did I miss this post?!?! I love LKA on my wife's Pilot and have the same car as you do, 2008 LS600hL all the options to include the Advanced PCS. I am going to have to look into this.
PS
Mods, I see there are four pages to this thread but when I click on the 4th page, it directs me to the top of page 3. Wondering what is going on?

LKA In the US on the 600h. Apparently the LED headlights didn't work well with the earlier version of the camera system so it wasn't offered on the hybrid until 2010.
However APCS was available; it was (I think) on the 100 Neiman Marcus cars. It's very rare. I think I've seen 2 or 3 (including mine) when I was shopping that had it pre-2010.
Vansibel; which of the 3 part numbers did you end up going with? I'm unsure as to which one to pick. Also how did you install it?

Part was 84240-50090 (which is originally a 2010 ls600hl but it fit perfectly on a 2008-2009 model). If I recall correctly just remove one screw on each side of the steering wheel to remove the horn/airbag and you'll have access to the original switch (1 or 2 screws to remove it). As for the APCS although it is indeed very rare on pre 2010 model it was not limited to Neiman Marcus edition cars. Here in Canada you had to have the executive class seating package to have the APCS. My car have those but it is not a Neiman Marcus. For pre 2010 in canada options were pretty simple for the ls600, either you had your car barebone with no options (not even the radar cruise), or have your car with every possible options available. Car that are in between here in Canada are from the US.
My car was (I think) a Toyota corporate car so it came fully loaded. I'm curious to take off some of the covers and see if it has the active stabilizer system. Then it would be really fully loaded.

No hands on wheel while using LKA..???
My youngest son moved to Irving,TX 4 years ago, just bought himself a Tesla model 3...Was visiting him at Christmas for 3 weeks and took a roadtrip to Austin a week-end..He started to wind some rope on the steering wheel..with a coca-cola can on the end of the rope...put the car in LKA mode...and it drow and steered by itself as long as the coke can was henging there...something to try out ??
Don't spread the idea...and I am NOT the one to blame if it goes haywire ;-)
