Good deal on 2011 Lexus LS 460 L w/Exec package?

Absolutely correct. ..keep in mind that if you purchase over the phone, make sure to say 44k or so. 49k is suspect lol. Just make sure it is more mileage than your last lexus service visit

Best part is that the factory extended warranty is (or used to be, I'm not sure if it still is) refundable on a pro rata basis for the portion you don't use. This means you can fully cover your ownership term with genuine Lexus dealer service. Then, when you eventually decide to sell the car, you can either "sell" the remaining warranty to the car buyer OR you can cash it in, lower the price, and sell it without a warranty. Everyone gets just what they want. But you gotta move before the 4/50 axe falls.

Yup, 4 years from in-service date.

Yes..this is true. I bought the CPO wrap to add 2 years and push mileage to 125k (5yr/125k) back in 2012 at time of CPO purchase. i called Lexus Financial Services today and they confirmed as of today's date that I would get back 67% of what I paid back to me whether I sell private party or trade..doesn't matter. It cannot be transferred to another party though which could help tremendously to speed up the sell. The prorated thing is good to know. I might make a move on something new sooner now knowing I won't lose all of the investment if I don't keep the car until 2017.

Spoke with the finance manager this afternoon. They will offer the Platinum warranty even though the factory warranty expired a month ago. 5y/50k $1950. Another $250 ups the mileage to 75k. I probably won't drive more than 7k per year, but plan on keeping the vehicle past 5 years (at least that is the lie I tell myself). Does anyone have any thoughts on the pricing and if I can negotiate further by asking for 6 or 7 years for the same price?

All i can say is those warranties are UPSELLS!!!! They are gambling on the investment you make that nothing will go seriously wrong so PUSH PUSH PUSH for the terms and price you want. They have room to move on that, so don't be intimidated. I can tell you I did not pay their "printed price" for my 5y/125k CPO wrap...paid about $500 less IIRC. All they can say is no, but they usually won't walk away from a decent offer

I agree with Ty, you are in a tricky spot since you are out of warranty. I would just take a printout of hfahmy's prices and use it as a negotiating tool and get the best deal you can from them.
