So many opportunistic owners jumped on that bandwagon and now not even a peep. I believe my 2011 will disengage the throttle if the brake is pressed.

It is 3yrs from purchase date or 100k on odometer..whichever comes first. I have 5yr/125k on my 600hL since I did a CPO wrap

in my opinion the LS is more comfortable and more reliable thane the e class. the MB E Handles slightly better but the that is to be expected given the difference in size.

I would compare the LS to the S Class and the E Class to the GS. In both cases the Lexus is the way to go for value and bang for the buck, unless you buy the AMG for the performance.

just my opinion.

I guess it all depends on what your look for in your vehicle. I will pick a LS over a E350 anyday. Over a E550 would be a hard choice. S550 forget it. A S550 would be sitting in my garage.

Regardless whatever car you get. Please get a 3 to 5 year extend warranty. Despite what a few people say here. I don't find Lexus mainteance all that cheap. Honestly their mainteance cost just as much as MB.

Good luck, and since your purchasing a used vehicle. Try to find one with all the options.

either car, get an extended warranty...lots of expensive stuff on these cars, but the likelyhood of you using the Benz extended warranty is much more likely haha....I love the look of the S Class and 7 series more than the LS, but just can't get over the horror stories out there of former German car owners who are so much more happier with Lexus now

After owning a mercedes and then two lexus (lexi?) haha I can see why mercedes only does one year on CPO. They would have tons of warranty repairs taking up space in the service department all day long. Lexus has nothing to fear. There are rarely problems with these cars. Even my now 2006 LS430 excellent car!

Default LS vs E350

Mercedes cost more for maintenance, has less reliability, and definitely less trade in value. I would not buy/drive a Mercedes or BMW outside of warranty. It will costs you!

Can I get an extended warranty after I purchase a CPO LS460? or I only am able to get it during the transaction?

BMW only has a two years for their CPO and it doesn't cover a lot of stuff when you read the fine print.
One thing that caught me off guard about Lexus was that 6 year 70k mile powertrain warranty which is outstanding.
