I bought a 2008 LS 460L Exec pckg with the CPO warranty in 2010 which is due to expire in a couple of months. The vehicle had 27K miles originally, and currently has 55K miles on it. I'd like to retain the car long term but avoid the hassle of paying $$$$ for things normally can and will break. Any suggestions on WHAT KIND of extended warranty and WHERE FROM should anyone in my situation buy some peace of mind?

It is my understanding that when you buy a CPO vehicle you have to make the decision to purchase the extended warranty at that time if you want the Lexus extended warranty . Most aftermarket companies may sell you one.....at what price and how good they are will vary greatly.
