Welcome to Club Lexus. Plenty of owners here have successfully installed the Data Systems controllers. The suspension controller module is independent of whether or not the wheels will rub. The wheels can potentially "rub" at stock height if the offset and fitment is all wrong.

The best advice I can give you would be to make sure the fitment of your wheels would work in conjunction with lowering your vehicle before purchasing anything.
