Dealer quote at 630 dollars. But it is primarily oil change. Should I just do oil change? And if I assume the original owner did not change the oil from 1.5 years ago, will my car break even though I will change the oil tmr?
No your car won't break because it has oil from one year ago lol. You just need to get the oil changed if you feel the oil might be old. You could do the oil change yourself if you want. It is not hard at all, but it is alot of oil so be ready to catch it.

What?... I don't get any shaking anytime, much less on steering wheel... Cold or warm, at least my car is tomb quiet, no shakings, nothing. And if I put my car in neutral at a stop light for example, it fells like the engine is turned off. Did you buy your car new or used?

My car doesn't shake or vibrate either. Try running some fuel additive or cleaner through or maybe some sea foam. For reference, I have an 07 with 44k.

I changed my oil today at Valvoline, spend $113. After I changed the oil the car seldom shaked! Damn, it meant that the dealer did not change the oil and the old oil is from a year ago!

I wonder how bad it would be if I did not change ti today....

I seems that I made a good choice switching from Mercedes to Lexus. All members here in lexus forum said the car is reliable. But when I went to the MB forum (when I had my MB), there were all kinds of problems. Stay away from MB!!!

Default i agree with jj4400

you said it jj4400!! 2 M-B's and 2 BMW's, I decided to go back to japanese made after constantly having to shell out $2k every 6 months regardless that I drive very little mileage! I haven't looked back since!! I use to only drive japanese after having a bad experience with a new american made car which was in the shop 48 times within 2 years my last year of college (prior to the lemon law so I was stuck). I swore then I'd only drive japanese and have no idea how I became diverted towards those german brands...glad I finally saw the light once again!!

I wouldn't worry about the car, I bought mine used a year ago with 72k on it and I drive 500-700 miles a week without any problems. All I've done is change the fluids (tranny, coolant and oil). No shakes, no noise...just pure power and great fuel economy for an engine this powerful.

Welcome. I was reading your topic question of how long a 07 LS460 with 87,500 should last. From what I've read the answer is 87,501 miles. Ok so I'm kidding. They should last for hundreds of thousands of mile with the right care and maintenance. Folks are buying 07's with over 100,000 miles with complete confidence.

If you haven't taken it in to your Lexus dealership for a once over, you should. They will tell you what's going on with the car. These cars will need some maintenance, but should be road worthy for some time to come. Enjoy.

It depends of course but nothing would have happened unless the car was driven over 20k miles.
You can do more damage to your car taking it to a quick oil change place then not changing your oil. If you want the very best then your next oil change should be with a Toyota oil filter and Toyota synthetic oil.

My last 4 cars have been a Lexus (with 1 bad BMW mistake mixed in). A few GS' , LS430, and just bought an LS460 yesterday. You will not find a moe reliable car brand, period!! With general maintenance, they will run forever. My LS430 had 135k on it and it ran like new, although that's probably the most reliable car Lexus ever made.

I've also owned many BMW's and a Benz. Night and day as far as reliability goes. The Bimmers are more fun to drive, when they aren't in the shop.

Enjoy it
