Default Is this a good price for these wheels?

Hi guys, i have been pricing wheels and i can't seem to find any reference as to what a good price should be. I have been quoted a price of $2850.00 for a set of 22" CV1 Vossens with tires.
This included the mounting and balancing.
Is this a good deal?

I think it might be a good price. I just did some searching and it looks like they are running at around $2900 for the 22" vossens new without tires. With that said maybe someone who has actually bought a set will chime in with what they paid. Let us know what brand and model tire they are going to include with this package deal.

Based on the fact that a staggered set of 22x9/22x10.5 CV1s with Tires runs $3750..I say you did good if they are in great shape!

Paid 3700 for my set new with Nitto Invos so if you can get them for 1500, thats a steal. Just make sure theyre not bent and have no cracks or leaks. From my understanding, theyre hard to find replacements now.

leaks? i thought the only way to get a leak is through a rim that is bent? I mean, the only thing i can do is to have him drive me around the block to make sure the wheels are not bent...other than that, i dont know what else could be done to detect a bent wheel..

i read your posts where you actually had the same set up and the same color of vehicle. Did you have to drop the vehicle? i was told you dont really need to drop it with the cv1s... Also, did you get rubbing with the 245s up front? how about the back 295s? did they rub when you had passengers?

I did..Mr. former AF guy. I am a former Army Ranger myself. I actually find it amusing when i ask a question and you respond by submitting threads or google searches lol..
That being said, I WILL say that the 20s you had on your ls460 did not look all that. Once you put the 22s, it came alive. I dont know, I just dont feel that 20s fit on this car because it is such a huge body. It is kinda like a bodybuilder with skinny legs... Just doesnt look right. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the cv1s i am picking up this Saturday look and are totally ok. I am expecting some curve rashes of course, but for $1500, i can't quite complain since i have NOT seen these wheels anywhere online or craigslist or even here sell for that price in used condition. I know i would have a hard time finding them again at this price.

Assuming that the wheels you're getting have the correct offset for the LS, 245s front and 295 rear will not rub. Specially if you leave it at stock height. I run the same wheels with 255/30/22f and 295/30/22r. Yes 30 rear. Tire is a bit taller and I had to roll the fender but my car is lowered. If you run 295/25/22 in the rear, you shouldnt have any issues.
