Dealer called today and said that fuel pressure sensor is bad, also ECU might be bad he is not sure and estimate was like 3600 $. I have two questions here. Where is fuel pressure sensor ? 2 if I replace ECU do I have to take it to dealer to reprogram it?
Thanks again guys.
Doesn't the 2007 LS460 have a 6 yr /70K powertrain warranty on it?

If so, and you're still under that warranty, I'd have it towed to a Lexus dealer, as both those items mentioned are covered under the powertrain.

(I'm assuming its got less than 70K miles, since you paid almost $40K for it, I bought my LS460L in October with the same mileage for almost $10K less).

OMG thank you so much. I did little research and found out that ecu is covered and cant find anything about fuel pressure sensor. Car has 56000 miles on it and priced as 4 years X 800 $ month is where I am coming from about 40000 $ thanks again. I will give them a call tomorrow.

If its covered under warranty Lexus would have covered the towing AND they would have provided a New Lexus loaner car for free.

I’m glad you got it fixed finally.

In one way it's a good thing you went through all this. If you followed our advice originally and brought it to a Lexus dealer you probably would be complaining that they charged you $193.83 to just fix just one little wire.
