Please help me here. Just bought 460l 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. Left it sitting for 5 days. I came back and all good then in morning wont start no click or nothing. After many many trys is would try to start but never did start. Bought new battery and no go. Today i try to jump again and something is seriously bad because there is no power at all like before... before i had everything working just would not start now no power at all.

Is there main fuse ?
If someone can help here is my phone 270 605 6055

Strange that you put a battery and would not start. Same thing happened to me after leaving car at airport for a week. 07-460 just purchased used. Mine jump started right up though. There are some threads here about battery going dead. Maybe there will be one that will help you.

 

SIlly question, you didnt hook the battery up backwards did you?

Does it have ANY power? do the lights come on when you open the door?

Was it a known good battery that you installed?

 

Yes brand new battery. No i placed battery in right way.
Whats scary is that after i tryed jumping nothing is coming on. I cant even lock doors by remote. However there is light in doors handels and leg room light work start button is lit. I am thinking main fuse or surge fuse is blown?

 

You did put your foot on the brake before pushing the START button, I assume.

 

Did u try placing the key by the start button?

 

Check the battery in the key fob make sure u put it in the right way and make sure the car is in park.

 

...and put a multimeter at the battery terminals to check if voltage is good. Between 12v-13.8v is normal.

 

Thanks for replays guys. I am pretty sure i did everything right way like battery right way and i know how jump car its not first time. There is something wrong with the fuse relay or ecu... what fuse to look for ? Where or what would break in power surge?

Battery reads 11.8 on hidden menu. I checked it.

 

IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR KEY FOB IS THE PROBLEM!

1- do your headlights come on when you turn them on. If so your car battery is probably fine

2- can you lock or unlock the car with the remote key FOB? If not the FOB battery is bad or the fob itself is bad. Do you have a second FOB? If so try it.

If the FOB battery is bad you can still start the car by pushing the start button with the FOB, not you finger.

Report back after trying above.

11.8 volts is hardly charged.

You need to return the battery from wherever you bought it and have them replace it or recharge it.

 

Fob is good battery in it is good. I have done push start with fob and nothing.

Headlights works fine.
Can it be start button ?

Can not lock or unlock with FOB. However light blinks on fob each time i press button on fob.

Can you unlock your trunk by touching the black button under the trunk lid?
